While the iPhone has been selling uber well, it is likely that Apple will be launching another smaller version of it's iPhone due to strong rumors and Apple's product launch history. Not everyone is willing or able to let go of $499/$599 for an iPhone and Apple obviously knows this (I mean, they better since they are one of the most recognizable names in the world)...According to DigiTimes, Taiwan's Chinese-language Commercial Times says that Taiwan's Wintek has gained the touch-screen panel orders for the second-gen iPhone. Wintek claims that it has already started production and testing on small volumes of Apple's newest member of the family. The price tag remains to be decided but is speculated at having an MSRP of $249 and $299 respectively.
